Maxwell Hodge Solicitors, Aintree branch, appoint Hope Community Church Aintree as their Charity of the Year for 2023

Maxwell Hodge Solicitors are delighted to announce partnership with Hope Community Church Aintree as their Charity of the Year, which will commence in January 2023.

Claire Banks and Pamela Lacey recently met with Rev Lee Jennings (Minister), and Ruth Nuttall, Centre Manager, to take a look around the premises and present a cheque for £500 to kick start the partnership.

Rev. Lee Jennings commented “We are delighted to be partnering with the team at Maxwell Hodge for 2023, a company with both rich heritage in this region and who also hold a heart for the local communities in which they are based.  With the help of the Aintree Office, we are looking forward working together to love our neighbours in practical ways in Aintree and the surrounding area, sharing hope with those having a hard time.”

The Church run a variety of regular community activities – including Parents and Tots, Knit and Natter, Prison Fellowship (where they visit local prisons and also run courses).  The Centre also hold groups on behalf of the Stroke Association ‘Life after Stroke’, Alzheimer’s Society reading group and for families with children who have disabilities and additional needs.

Their Café Hope is very popular with local residents. It is staffed entirely by volunteers, and is both welcoming and an ideal place to meet friends.

The Church also run a foodbank from the Centre where residents of Aintree Village are able to attend to collect food parcels.

Following her visit, Pamela Lacey, Manager at Aintree branch of Maxwell Hodge said “We are excited to be supporting the Hope Community Church Aintree, and looking forward to our partnership with them in 2023. They are what our community is all about. Lee, Ruth and all of the volunteers go that extra mile to help others, whether it be the Foodbank, the toddler rooms that they run, the café, or the rehabilitation classes that are held at the Centre.”

Being based in the local community, Maxwell Hodge are looking forward to their partnership with Hope Community Church during 2023.  Ruth Nuttall (Centre Manager) said “We face challenging days with confidence that together we can respond to the changing needs of our community and make a real difference.”
