Huyton and Kirkby branches of Maxwell Hodge Solicitors are delighted to announce their partnership with the Big Help Project/Knowsley Foodbank as their Charity of the Year for 2023 – and are excited for the year ahead!

Dan Eales and Kristina Stoddern recently attended at the foodbank head office to present a cheque for £500 to kick start the partnership, kindly donated by the 4 Directors at Maxwell Hodge.

Kristina Stoddern commented “‘Knowsley Foodbank provide such a vital service in the Huyton and Kirkby areas. Many of our clients are from these areas and may well be using those services. In the current climate, we felt that this charity was definitely one we wanted to support. We have worked with Knowsley Foodbank and the Big Help Project before and have seen first-hand the impact their efforts have on recipients of food parcels, food banks and pantries and the new mums who receive their baby bundles. We are very proud to be assisting in any way we can to make a difference in our communities.”

Being based in the local community, Maxwell Hodge are looking forward to their partnership with the Big Help Project/Knowsley Foodbank.  Michele Duckworth, Head of Corporate Engagement, said “We are delighted that the team at Maxwell Hodge has chosen Big Help Project as their Charity of the Year partner for 2023.  We are looking forward to developing a strong working relationship. The need for our services has grown rapidly since the announcement and subsequent energy price increases, with many people having to choose between buying food, or paying their household bills. This partnership will help us to be able to continue meeting the needs of our community and supporting those most affected by the cost of living crisis.”
